Next in Elements of Design we are looking at shapes and the course manual tells us there are three - triangles, rectangles and circles. The next exercise requires us to look at real and implied triangles and to make two sets of triangular compositions involving each type.
Real - three photographs - firstly a subject that is triangular, secondly making a triangular photograph using perspective converging towards the top of the frame and finally producing an inverted triangle using perspective converging towards the bottom of the frame. This last one I found the most difficult to devise.

The second part of the exercise was to use still life to produce a triangle with the apex at the top, then the bottom and then finally and image of three people in a triangular group.
